Enter the distance for the required offset into the correct angle that is going to bent.
Press calculate and the marking distance will be shown. You will require this value in step 5.
Gather the correct tools to complete the task.
Benders
Ruler
Marking pen/pencil
Pipe
Olive
Measure and mark the pipe for were you want the bend to start.
Measure from the first mark the distance given from the calculator.
Using an olive, mark the pipe all the way around on both marks. This will help when you have to rotate the pipe in the bender.
Insert the pipe into the bender. The first mark should line up with the front of the hook.
Pull the bend to the required angle. It is important to check that you have the correct angle for the first bend.
Slide the pipe through the bender and align the second mark up with the front of the hook. At this stage you must make sure the pipe is straight in the bender.
Pull the second bend so that it becomes parallel with the first bend.
Measure and check that you have the correct required distance for the offset.
