Enter the required passover height into the calculator.
Enter the angle for the outer bends. Typically if the height is greater than 30mm then the angle will be 30°. If the height is less than 30mm then the angle will be 22.5°.
Enter the angle for the centre bend. Typically if the height is greater than 30mm then the angle will be 60°. If the height is less than 30mm then the angle will be 45°.
Press 'Calculate' and the marking distance will appear. You will need the distance in steps 7&8

Mark the pipe to be bent where you want it to pass over the pipe below it.
Using the the distance from the calculator mark the pipe to the left of the first mark made.
Using the the distance from the calculator mark the pipe to the right of the first mark made.
Use an olive to draw around the pipe for all three marks.
Place the pipe into the bender and align the centre mark with the 60° centre mark.
Bend the pipe to 60°. It is important to check with an angle finder that the bend is at 60°.
Slide the pipe through the bender and align the next mark with the passover starting point. You must make sure at this point that the pipe is straight in the bender. Align the pipe with the handle of the bender.
Bend the pipe so that it is bent to 30°.
Take the pipe out of the bender and align the third mark with passover starting mark on the bender. Again at this point it is important to check that the pipe is straight in the bender. Align with the bender handle.
Bend the pipe to 30°, look through the bend to ensure that both outer bends are aligned.
Measure the height of the passover to ensure it is correct.
